Ebbets Field Flannels Baltimore Black Sox 1933 Road Jersey
History: The Black Sox began as an independent black club in 1913, and were one of the six founding members of the Eastern Colored League in 1923. After that league's demise, they moved to the American Negro League in 1929, where they won the title for that season, winning over 70% of their games.
History: Albany, under the guidance of manager Bill McCorry, won the EL pennant finishing six games ahead of the Bridgeport Bears. Johnny Gill led the league in runs and hits. Gill later played for Cleveland, Washington, and the Chicago Cubs, and like many players of his time, returned to the minor leagues after his major league career was over.
