In a culture where you're only as fresh as your white sneaks and your fit is the perfect conversation starter, this KAWHI II design takes cues from the historical and cultural styles of communication and celebrates the conversations within the Black community, while opening the landscape for new dialogue.

The Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 574 ‘Conversations Amongst Us’ continues a collaborative project between the Chicago-based designer and the Black Soles, an employee-led New Balance community committed to representation and empowerment. Inspired by meaningful communications that effect positive social change, the retro runner features resilient, transparent, and reflective materials. The upper combines cream-colored ripstop with tonal leather overlays and clear TPU detailing at the collar.
